Hi, my name is Qaleb Pillai and I am currently pursuing a master’s in finance with a concentration in corporate finance/investment banking. I have experience working with angel investors and technology startups, and I hope to enter the private equity/venture capital field upon graduation. I first participated in FLA through placing in the Securities Analysis Competition which proved to be a valuable opportunity for me to apply the finance skills I learned in class. 

 

As Corporate Relations Director, I hope to bring in speakers in various aspects of finance that can provide insight and guidance to our FLA members. In addition, I’m looking forward to helping our members succeed at UT Dallas and in their careers. In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching soccer, watching a lot of movies and TV, and writing screenplays.
